​James Cook University (JCU) ranks in the top 400 universities worldwide. JCU Townsville has 12 car parking area compromise 2000+ parking spaces.

Holman Engineering designed and installed a parking guidance system to aid students and staff in efficiently finding available parking spaces. The system monitors vehicle movements at car park entries and exits to accurately calculate the available spaces and then displays this figure on signs that were installed throughout the campus. ​

Holman Engineering has also interfaced our parking guidance system with a student-run vehicle counting project to help support JCU in achieving its educational objectives.
