The Olympic Construction Authority had a need to install the world's most technologically advanced event management system in the recently built Sydney International Aquatics Centre. This need went to international public tender. Holman Engineering proposed the development of a custom system to meet the specific needs of the 1994 FINA rules, the Sydney International Aquatic Centre and the Local Diving Association Against the worldwide competition for this tender, Holman Engineering secured the order to develop this system. The event management system is a PC based system that runs in the Windows Environment. The system communicates with custom hardware (Referee's consoles, Judges consoles and local display boards), the Main Scoreboard and the media (via the network which Holman Engineering also designed and installed) |
