For more than 20 years, Holman Engineering has manufactured and supplied precise clocks for use across the Sydney Trains rail network.
The original design and manufacture was completed under a tight three-month deadline to support availability before the Sydney Olympics. Since then, Holman has continued to improve the product line, updating the technology while maintaining the reliability required for rail and infrastructure environments.
Holman precise clocks are designed as legally traceable time displays that synchronise with CSIRO time servers to maintain accuracy. Remote monitoring software has also been provided to allow IP-based clocks to report their status across the network.
