Holman Engineering has developed a PC based paging system. The system is predominantly used in Clubs and Power Stations.

Paging System:

This consists of a PC based paging system which allows the user to send paging messages by typing them in, or send messages by using contact closures (ie alarm contacts).

Below is a photo of the Paging System installed in a major hotel (click on the photo to enlarge it):

Call Manager System:

The Call Manager System is an enhanced version of the Paging System which is used in major clubs to page staff to attend to drinks or service requirements of patrons. There are two components to the Club system:

  • Call Manager
  • Call Manager Reporter

  • Very high volume system (The Canterbury Leagues Club System currently makes about 30,000 calls per week)
  • Call Manager will interface to either a Proprietry Paging System or it can be a stand alone system using a Pocsag format
  • Can be run on across a network

Power Station System:

We also have a Power Station Paging system that interfaces between a Power Station Control System and a Paging System. This system is called the PPAI (Pocket Paging Alarm Interface). This system is currently installed in several Power Stations in Queensland and New South Wales.

Below are a couple of photos of the PPAI at Stanwell Power Station (click on the photo to enlarge it):
